We are counting on your cooperation in remaining within our
page limitations. The following approximations are offered to
help you calculate the length of your manuscript:

|
= 1 printed page |
| 4 tables or figures with legends |
|
|
= 1 printed page |
Example: A manuscript contains 15 pages of text

| 15 pages of text |
= 5 printed pages |
| 6 figures or tables |
= 1.5 printed pages |
| 17 references |
= .5 printed pages |
| |
|
| |
7.0 printed pages |
REFERENCES
Reference numbers in the text follow numerical order and are
enclosed in parentheses. References are listed in the order in
which they are referred to in the text, not in alphabetical order;
they must follow the style of the samples that follow. Please
note that manuscripts in press may be referenced; however, manuscripts
that have been submitted for publication but not yet accepted
should not be referenced. All references must be complete when
the manuscript is submitted.
Journal titles should be abbreviated according to Index Medicus.
